New Industrial Complex for Moffat Beach Business Park
An industrial complex comprising seven tilt slab strata units is under construction in the tightly held Moffat Beach Business Park precinct near Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast.
The complex is being developed by local developers Keith Lees and Rob Wilson on a recently cleared site at 20 Allen Street, Moffat Beach.
The developers have engaged Karloo Constructions to build the project and Ray White Commercial Caloundra’s Len Greedy and Alan Gray to market the strata-titled lots.
Len Greedy said new industrial units in the business park are in high demand, with four of the seven units at 20 Allen St already under contract.
“The three remaining units range in size from 93 sqm to 160 sqm,” he said.
“Each unit will include electric high clearance roller doors, shower and kitchenette, 3 phase power, exclusive car park allocation and other features.”
Alan Gray said demand for smaller industrial sheds in and around Caloundra has increased with more people looking for storage for their boats, jet skis, collector cars and other toys.
“Small business operators are looking to break the rental cycle and purchase their own property with Moffat Beach ideally suited to cater for this with its proximity to the Caloundra CBD and beaches,” he said.
Family owned and operated Karloo Constructions was founded in 1999 and has since firmly established itself as one of Queensland’s leading commercial and industrial builders. Located on the Sunshine Coast, Karloo Constructions has been involved in the construction and design of a number of quality, landmark buildings in the region.
