Development Approved Caloundra CBD Corner Site Goes to Auction

A vacant corner site with development approval in the heart of Caloundra’s CBD on the Sunshine Coast is being offered for sale via auction by Ray White Commercial.

The property at 37 Bombala Terrace, Caloundra, is being marketed by Len Greedy and Alan Gray of Ray White Commercial Caloundra.

Len Greedy said the 637 sqm parcel of land had General and Local Regional Business Centre zoning and had DA approval for a boutique townhouse development.

“The site has been granted approval for four townhouses and would ideally suit a commercial or residential development,” he said.

“With the Sunshine Coast real estate markets moving upwards and the continued population influx into Caloundra; this is an ideal project for an investor, builder or first-time developer.”

Alan Gray said the 637 sqm parcel of land was strategically located just behind Bulcock Street which is the main retail and tourist strip in Caloundra’s Central Business District.

“The site is located in a prime corner position, with 36 metres of frontage to Dingle Avenue and a 16 metre frontage to Bombala Avenue,” he said.

“It’s also close to the popular Caloundra Village Shopping Centre, Council Chambers, and Australia Post, and within walking distance of Kings and Bulcock beaches.

“Properties in this location are continuing to attract solid interest from both investors and business end users so we really do encourage all prospective buyers to register their interest and attend the auction to avoid disappointment.”

Caloundra is located approximately 75 minutes to Brisbane’s CBD, 30 minutes to Maroochydore airport and just two minutes to the Sunshine Coast’s beautiful beaches and coastlines.

37 Bombala Terrace will be auctioned in-rooms at The Events Centre, Caloundra, at 11am (AEST) on Thursday, October 16, 2014.
